About ZIP+4

A ZIP+4 code adds four digits to the 5-digit ZIP code (for example 22201-2890). The extra digits point to a specific delivery segment such as one side of a street block, a building or a PO box group. Using the full ZIP+4 can speed up mail sorting and is often required by business mailing software. Learn more about ZIP+4 →
