Area code 900 (premium-rate (pay-per-call))

Area code 900 is a non-geographic premium-rate (pay-per-call) code in the North American Numbering Plan.

Format a 900 number

US numbers are written as (900) 555-0123 or 900-555-0123. From outside the US, dial +1 900 555 0123.

Is a call from 900 a scam?

An area code only tells you where a number was assigned. Caller ID can be faked (“spoofed”), so do not trust a call just because the area code looks local. Never share codes or payment details with unexpected callers.
